Note: Originally published Feb. 7, 2009. One of my old favorites, and one of the few stories I was sure would get me in trouble.

Kristina Cassandra “KC” Concepcion, the sweet daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, is actually her son.

Good Times Manila has learned that KC is male based on confidential medical records, interviews with sources close to the Cuneta family, and hospital staff.

The family secret surrounding Cuneta’s child with her first boyfriend, Gabby Concepcion, came to light Saturday when sources from a hospital based in Paris leaked KC’s medical records to a Filipino journalist based there, who in turn turned them over to GTM.

In the documents, it was found that doctors labeled KC as “male.”

“The rumors before that KC went to study in Paris because he was going to have an abortion weren’t true at all. It was so doctors could operate surgically and remove his sex organ,” a source said, adding that doctors decided to defer the operation until KC was older.

It was learned that Cuneta originally wanted a daughter instead of a son when KC was first born so she raised him as a daughter instead.

Since then, Concepcion has reportedly been taking estrogen pills and other hormone medication to hide his masculine features.

“But lately, it seems the pills are no longer working,and he’s looking more and more male. He even looks more masculine than his leading men, Richard Gutierrez and Piolo Pascual,” the source said.

KC was last seen opposite Gutierrez in GMA Films’ Valentine offering “When I Met U.” She is also set to play the female lead in ABS-CBN’s remake of the Korean series “Lovers in Paris.”

With his true nature revealed, it was not immediately clear if KC’s home studio ABS-CBN would push through with his guesting on ASAP on Sunday to promote his upcoming new show.

KC was reportedly scheduled to sing Beyonce’s hit “If I Were A Boy.”

  KC is a bitch. we were in ANVAYA COVE vacactioning from the states and me, my wife and my cousin were taking videos OURSELVES when this “KC” cameup to us telling us in a “bitchy tone” that she doesnt want tobe videotaped. WE told her straight out were not video taping her. I Didn’t know who she was until my cousin told me. Then she became very plastic and asked our names. whimsicalchild: KC hasn’t changed his sex yet I believe. It was rumored that he did when he went to Paris but it hasn’t been confirmed yet. Still, it is entirely possible to live as a girl even though you were born a boy.

she does look like a boy, with very wide mouth. what i don’t like her is how her handlers project her as if she’s god’s gift to showbusiness. well, she’s not ! she’s no sharon, no leah salonga not even a sarah geronimo.people remember her at the i.s. as nothing spectacular in looks and brains department. in fact, schoolmates suspect she didn’t pass the sat’s in the u.s. (reason why she went to school in paris with a degree not even her mother is familiar with). a parent who does volunteer work at the i.s. library noted that in 4 years, she never saw a book borrowed and entered in kc’s library card.there’s an air of manliness about her.

Someone told me that, the reason why she flew to paris is because she got pregnant and she did not abort it.sharon cover it up by telling everybody that she was pregnant instead and she made herself look fat and preggy.If you would remember sharon gave “birth” to her youngest daugther outside the country,that is because there is nothing to gave birth to they make people believe that she really gave birth but that’s not the truth they said.she’s not really pregnant. This one again, is a funny post but I think this gender-issues concerning hot female celebrities is really getting old. I think this is just a hoax.

I’ve also read blogs about Angelina, Jolie, Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox that questions their real gender. Eventually, it was revealed that all of those issues are just plain hoax.. no offense po ah.. But I enjoyed reading your posts. I love your blog.
