Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., the alleged mastermind of the Maguindanao massacre, reportedly sneaked out of his detention cell at Camp Crame last night to catch the last full show of the Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson starrer “Paano Na Kaya?”

But after the movie, Ampatuan immediately turned himself in to his police escorts and apologized, saying he couldn’t bear the thought of not being able to watch the latest Kimerald film while he was in custody.

Marian Rivera, GMA-7’s queen of primetime, reportedly picked a fight with an automated teller machine last Sunday after it failed to obey her commands.

Based on eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred when Rivera, who was taping her soap “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang,” needed to withdraw cash at an ATM near the GMA-7 building on Timog Avenue in Quezon City.

Popular cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo’s detachable nose has been missing since Friday when she last took it off her face and left it on her dresser before going to sleep, according to reports.

As a result, Belo is offering a reward of P500,000 to anyone who could provide information about her missing nose, she said in a public announcement aired on national TV.

Eric Jean Claude Dudoignon Valade is recovering at the Makati Medical Condition where he has been confined since last week suffering from a severe case of leptospirosis, an illness usually acquired through contact with bacteria-infested animal urine.

Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay has appeared in a new TV ad espousing the benefits of living in his city and boasting that Makati residents are “more attractive” than inhabitants of other cities.

Socialite and eventologist Tim Yap commiserated with the victims of flashfloods brought on by Typhoon Ondoy over the weekend by throwing “the biggest costume party of the year” at Embassy Bar, which he co-owns, on Tuesday night.

In the exclusive “by invitation only” party, A-list celebrities like Tessa Prieto-Valdez stayed true to the Ondoy theme by wearing tattered rags, slippers (not “Havaianas” but “Spartan”) and brownish makeup to simulate a “muddy look,” according to reports.

A combative Korina Sanchez reportedly wrote an open letter to Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad, the girlfriend of Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, to clarify certain issues involving the two of them.

In her letter to Soledad, a copy of which was sent anonymously to Good Times Manila, Sanchez denied “nasty” reports that she was heartbroken over losing her prospects as the next First Lady. She also accused Aquino’s girlfriend of ignoring her invitation to become Facebook friends.
